PUSH YOURSELF – PUSH YOUR CAUSE

Jeffrey Previte - Lifelong Entrepreneur and Founder of the Big Belt Buckle Challenge

Jeffrey Previte is the entrepreneur and endurance athlete behind the Big Belt Buckle Challenge, which is working toward becoming the world’s largest community of multidisciplinary endurance athletes. The Big Belt Buckle Challenge aims to host a number of endurance events each year while raising donations to worthy nonprofit organizations and causes, such as education, children’s programs, and sobriety.

Mr. Previte has been an entrepreneur nearly his entire life. He started his first job at age 9, taking a local paper route, and soon graduated to putting together newspapers at a convenience store. He then started his first business, Previte Landscaping, at age 13, providing lawn and landscaping services in his community. Over the years, he grew the company to 30 employees serving hundreds of clients. While running the business, he earned an MBA at Boston College Carroll School of Management.

After graduating with his master’s degree, Jeffrey Previte started working at EBI Consulting, where he served for two decades before eventually stepping down as co-CEO in September 2020. At EBI, he was instrumental in developing the company’s telecommunications consulting business into a market leader. He also started the New England Wireless Association and worked with the federal government, state historic preservation organizations, and other public sector organizations to protect natural and historic resources while building out the country’s telecom networks. His efforts also drove EBI Consulting’s extensive philanthropic program. The company and its staff have donated millions to more than 200 charities via the EBI Cares project.

Mr. Previte also leads Previte Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a boutique olive oil company that serves as a tribute to his grandfather, who worked his way to the U.S. from Italy by selling olive oil, cheese, and meat. In addition, Mr. Previte manages the Previte Charitable Family Trust, which has supported dozens of worthy causes over the years.
